The Routing & Switching Technical Development Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new technical content for existing and new Internetwork Expert Routing & Switching products and services. As an Internetwork Expert Technical Development Engineer you will need to have the ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge in a clear and consise manner on paper, as well as be able to test, verify, and support any related content.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of configuring technologies such as Ethernet, Frame Relay, ISDN, ATM, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, Multicast, and QoS on Cisco IOS
- 5+ Years professional experience in a related technology area
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the various Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE)
- In depth understanding of the various Cisco certifications and training classes a plus
- Previous experience with content development or technical documentation a plus
- Education: BS or equivalent industry experience
