- Automatic updates of all electronic materials, as they’re released, for customers who purchased electronic OR printed materials*.
- Attend ANY class again, free** of charge before and/or after attempting the exam.
- Access to ANY Class-On-Demand for classes that have been previously purchased and are available in COD format.
- Customers who have purchased printed materials can receive a copy of updated printed workbooks, when new releases are available, for the cost of printing, shipping, and handling.
- Note that seats for our classes fill up quickly. If you feel you would like to attend a class again, for whatever reason, please contact our Sales Department as soon as possible to reserve your seat in advance.
Investment Protection Examples
- You purchase a printed version of the IEWB-RS workbook in June 2006 and in the following September we release a new version of the IEWB-RS workbook. Since your purchase is covered, you will receive access to the updated version in electronic format free of charge. If you would like to get a new printed version you can do so for 17.5% of the product’s list price plus shipping which includes a new printed workbook, new laminated diagrams, and the new printed Solutions Guide!
- You attend our IEATC-RS instructor-led class in Reno, NV during the month of August in 2006. You decide in June of 2007 that you would like re-sit the IEATC-RS. Simply email in to make sure a seat is available, and you can re-sit the class in onsite or online format free* of charge.
- You purchase our self-paced IEATC-RS Class-on-Demand in July 2006 and in August 2007 Cisco announces changes to the CCIE lab exam for January 2008. We release a new version of the Class-on-Demand in November 2007 that covers the January 2008 CCIE lab exam changes. Since your purchase included Investment Protection, you will receive the updated version free of charge.
- You attend a CCIE class from competitor X in October 2006. Due to work and/or personal issues you do not get a chance to attempt the actual CCIE lab exam until January 2008. Since you attended the class over a year ago, you feel that you would like retake their class before your CCIE lab date. Since competitor X doesn't offer an Investment Protection Program you are forced to attend the CCIE lab and fail BEFORE you are allowed to retake their class! And this is only IF they have a class retake policy AND have a retake seat available in the class you want to attend! Note: Some competitors may ask you to forward your CCIE lab score report to them before allowing you to retake the class. This is against Cisco's NDA disclosure agreement so be very careful!
- You purchase a lab preparation workbook from competitor Y in August 2006. Competitor Y releases a new version of their lab workbook in January 2007. Since competitor Y doesn't offer an Investment Protection Program you are stuck with the old version unless you purchase the new version from them.
*End-to-End Program Customers
End-to-End programs are also protected. Updates made to any of the product components at time of original purchase are free of charge in electronic format. New printed versions of the products are available for 17.5% of the list price. Class re-sits are also covered. Any new products added to the End-to-End program after the initial purchase will be made available to existing End-to-End customers for a nominal upgrade fee.
**All-Inclusive Bootcamp Customers
Customers who purchase our All-Inclusive Bootcamp Program (IEBC-RS-AI) are allowed to reseat the bootcamps again at no additional charge (pending availability of a seat), however meals, hotel, rack time, and transportation costs must be paid for again by the student.
