Volume II - Full Scale Practice Labs provides 7 detailed, 8 hour labs which follow a structured design covering all necessary topic domains on the CCIE voice lab exam. Throughout each lab, you will configure the necessary technologies to build a complete CCIE Voice Lab topology. Each 8 hour lab is accompanied with a detailed solutions guide that explains both the necessary configurations and their reasoning.

All of the labs contain unique scenarios that will test the knowledge you gain from Internetwork Expert's Voice Volume I Technology Labs. The labs build upon individual technologies and the interactions between them. Each volume II lab is designed to simulate a full scale 8 hour lab, and consists of both core and non core tasks. Core tasks are subjects relating to network and phone connectivity, call routing, phone and device initialization/configuration, voicemail, and gateway/gatekeeper utilization. Non core tasks consist of subjects such as features, IPCC, Call Park/Pickup, Hunt Groups, etc...

The technologies covered in the Voice Volume II workbook cover all features of the CCIE Lab Exam and consist of both GUI and CLI based configurations. The systems to configure include voice enabled router and switch IOS platforms, CallManager Servers, Unity Server, 7960 IP Phones, Analog gateways, and a CatOS 6500 Switch.

Content Length & Depth:

Like the actual CCIE Voice Lab Exam each of the lab scenarios contained in Internetwork Expert's Voice Lab Workbook Volume II are designed to be configured within an 8 hour time frame, and are on average 15 - 17 pages in length. These labs are not 5 or 6 page mini-labs as you will see in other workbook products available on the market. In addition to this, each lab scenario in the Voice Lab Workbook Vol II covers a wide range of topics similar to the actual CCIE Lab Exam, and is divided into various general technology sections.

Point Scale:

Like the actual CCIE Lab Exam, each lab scenario contained in the Voice Lab Workbook Vol II consists of various sections totaling 100 points. Each task within the lab is assigned a specific point value. Points are only awarded if the presented solution meets all the given requirements, and does not violate any preset restrictions. No partial credit is awarded for any task. A minimum score of 80 points is required to 'pass' a particular scenario. This design allows the labs in the Voice Lab Workbook Vol II to be used as mock lab exams simulating the conditions of the actual CCIE Voice Lab Exam.

What is the difference between the printed and electronic versions?

With the printed version you will receive the workbook and solutions guide professionally printed. Additionally with the printed version you will get access to the electronic version FREE OF CHARGE! If your order is placed before 3PM PDT (-7 GMT) you will received access the same day!

The electronic version is exactly the same as the printed version with the exception of the fact the workbook, solutions and diagrams are Adobe PDF format. With the electronic version you can save the file locally to your computer, use it offline and even print it out. There are not any restrictions on the PDF with regards to how many times you can print it.
