YES !!! I DID IT !!! I passed the CCIE R&S lab in Brussels Monday 27th of November 2006. It took me precisely one year.
I skipped my job and studied fulltime (self-funded) using the self-paced products. I have used the IEWB-RS ver. 3.0 labs several times, studied the Advanced Technologies Labs, and tested my "speed" with the Core Lab Workbook. The AT-COD definitely made me understand aspects I couldn't find precisely explained in books or on the internet.
I laughed, cried, and sweated together with Brian and Brian through their 80 hours of COD. My best tip when studying is to remember having breaks. Your brain can't cope with all that new information at once. It need breaks to store and sort it.
Don't give up, even if you fail. You have come this far. Step back, be true to yourself, and find your weak areas.
Thank you Brian and Brian, and every one else at Internetwork Expert, for all the materials that makes it possible to become a CCIE.

Intended Audience
These Mock Lab Workshops are intended for CCIE R&S candidates who are within three months of their actual lab exam. Introductory material will not be covered, and thus, students are expected to have attended the CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class or have watched the Advanced Technologies Class-On-Demand along with having completed at least the first five IEWB-RS-VOL2 labs prior to attending. The lab scenarios covered during these workshops are designed to be more technically challenging than the real CCIE lab.
These workshops will also benefit CCIE candidates who may have attempted the actual CCIE Lab Exam without passing and feel they need to discover what technologies and topics they need to focus on before their next attempt.
Instructors

Overview
Internetwork Expert's CCIE Routing & Switching Mock Lab Workshops are five-day Instructor-led classes delivered at our training facilities in Reno, Nevada as well as through our state-of-the-art online classroom. They are designed for students to solidify their existing knowledge, expose weaknesses, and to fully prepare candidates as they lead up to their CCIE R&S Lab Exam date. IEW-RS-ONL-1 & IEW-RS-ONL-2 are both delivered in the same format with each Mock Lab Workshop containing 4 separate and unique mock lab scenarios. IEW-RS-RNO is an onsite Mock Lab Workshop which will contain a combination of any 4 of the 8 mock lab scenarios available in the online Mock Lab Workshops.
At the start of each workshop students are given a mock lab exam designed to simulate the conditions of the actual CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Exam. Students are expected to complete this exam in 8 hours, however, they are provided an additional 30 minutes for a lunch break. After completion, the exams are manually graded by our CCIE instructors.
The following day students are provided with a score report from the previous days lab that includes detailed feedback about the student's performance. The mock lab exam is then reviewed step-by-step by the instructor with the entire class and a detailed explanation is provided about the technologies covered, interpretations of the questions, and common mistakes that were made by students with relation to each topic. Monday - Thursday students will be provided with a new mock lab exam each day, for a total of four exams.
Friday's class includes a breakdown session of Thursday's lab, plus an extended lecture of the week in review. In addition to this the instructors will review the students' score reports for the entire week and give recommendations on readiness to take and pass the CCIE Lab Exam, along with suggestions of what topics to focus on during further preparation.
*Note: The mock lab exams used in Internetwork Expert's Mock Lab Workshop are not the same labs contained in Internetwork Expert's CCIE R&S Lab Workbooks.Where does IEW-RS Fit?
