Intended Audience:
These Mock Lab Workshops are intended for CCIE R&S candidates who are within three months of their actual lab exam. Introductory material will not be covered, and thus, students are expected to have attended the
CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Technologies Class or have watched the Advanced Technologies Class-On-Demand along with having completed at least the first five Routing & Switching Volume II Workbook labs prior to attending. The lab scenarios covered during these workshops are designed to be more technically challenging than the real CCIE lab.
These workshops will also benefit CCIE candidates who may have attempted the actual CCIE Lab Exam without passing and feel they need to discover what technologies and topics they need to focus on before their next attempt.
Instructors:
Overview
Internetwork Expert's CCIE Routing & Switching Mock Lab Workshops are six-day Instructor-led classes delivered onsite, in locations throughout the world as well as through our state-of-the-art online classroom.
They are designed for students to solidify their existing knowledge, expose
weaknesses, and to fully prepare candidates as they lead up to their CCIE R&S Lab
Exam date. Students are expected
to complete this exam in 8 hours, however, they are provided an additional 30 minutes for a lunch break.
After completion, the exams are manually graded by our CCIE instructors.
The following day students are provided with a score report from the previous days lab
that includes detailed feedback about the student's performance. The mock lab exam is then reviewed
step-by-step by the instructor with the entire class and
a detailed explanation is provided about the technologies covered,
interpretations of the questions, and common mistakes that were made by students with relation
to each topic. Sunday and Monday, students will be provided with two unique Mock Lab Exams, which the instructor will then spend all of Tuesday going over, in-depth, with all the students. The instructor will cover any weak areas that students had in the exams, clarify questions, and run through the solutions in a broken-down, step-by-step format. This process will then be repeated over Wednesday through Friday, with two more unique Mock Labs and another final day of follow-up and review on Friday.
Friday's class includes a breakdown session of Wednesday and Thursday's labs, plus an extended lecture of the week in review.
In addition to this the instructors will review the students' score reports for the entire week and
give recommendations on readiness to take and pass the CCIE Lab Exam, along with suggestions of what
topics to focus on during further preparation.
