Content Delivery

The CCIE Lab Exam is always progressing, and so is our program. The INE CCIE RS 4.0 Training Program implements a revolutionary new perpetual product release model, which ensures that you always have the latest and most up-to-date content available for the lab exam as it is developed.

Self-Paced Products

Self-paced products are available in both online and physical formats. Online products are delivered in PDF and streaming video formats, and are constantly being incrementally updated. Online products are made available the same day of purchase (unless order is placed on a payment plan, then access is given within 24 hours). Physical product releases, such as printed workbooks or Class-on-Demand DVDs, are a "snapshot" in time of the content as it is evolving. As changes are made they are always available for free electronically, and new physical product releases can be ordered for a minimal production and shipping fee.

Instructor-Led Products

With our online classroom options included in the instructor-led programs, such as the Open Lecture Series and Lab Meet-Ups, candidates can drop into a class session at any time to interact with our instructors in real-time. With multiple sessions scheduled periodically, you, the candidate, always have an outlet for your questions over the lifetime of your preparation. Best of all, any session that you are unable to attend is immediately available in electronic Class-on-Demand format following the conclusion of the class.

Printed vs Electronic Workbooks

CCIE Lab Workbooks are delivered either printed or electronic format. With the printed version you will receive the workbook professionally printed; solutions and diagrams are accessed electronically in Adobe PDF format. Volumes I, II, and III are available in printed format for a nominal upgrade fee that may be selected during checkout.

The electronic workbooks (Volumes I through IV) include electronic diagrams, lab content, and solutions in Adobe PDF format. With the electronic version you can save the file locally to your computer, use it offline and even print it out. There are not any restrictions on the PDF with regards to how many times you can print it.

Classes on Demand: Live vs DVD

At your convenience, you can view hundreds hours of CCIE-level lectures included with the CCIE 4.0 Program. All Class-on-Demands are accessible in recorded format through your online INE member account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Candidates with reliable/always-on internet connections, who study mostly from their computers, will benefit most from this edition. With the online format, you can log in to your account from any computer connected to the internet, and all you need is a modern browser and Adobe Flash Player installed. You can watch the recordings as much as you like, and download all of the PDFs from the class to assist in your studies.

A DVD edition of the CCIE R&S Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand is an available option with the CCIE 4.0 Program. Candidates who are frequent travelers or do not have reliable/always-on internet connections will benefit most from this edition, as the DVD can be played on almost any modern PC or Macintosh system. Please note that DVD updates are normally delayed until all corresponding live content has been recorded by our instructors.

Graded Mock Labs

CCIE 4.0 Program subscribers are entitled to four (4) unique mock exams. You have the option to schedule an exam 7 days a week with various start times available. Next, electronic access to a unique CCIE Mock Lab scenario and rack access instructions will be provided prior to the start of your scheduled time. Once the exam starts, you will be allotted eight hours of rack time to configure the tasks within the exam, plus an additional half hour lunch break (eight and a half hours total). When the exam time has expired your configurations will be graded by one of our highly skilled CCIE instructors, and a detailed score report is provided outlining your performance.

Core Knowledge Simulation

The product is accessible through INE member online account, and requires Adobe Flash Player and a live internet connection to use. You will be presented with a series of questions and detailed answers, followed by the link for further reading. You may freely navigate between the questions and the question database is constantly being populated. You do not have to pay for any further questions added and essentially receive all updates for FREE!

Audio Bootcamp

The files are in delivered in M4A format. If you do not natively have the ability to play M4A files, you can download Apple iTunes;. Enjoy the convenience of learning at any place and listen to over 30 hours of audio lectures recorded by one of best instructors in CCIE industry!

How is ILT version different from Self-Paced

The main difference lies in the following components:

The Instructor-Led version of CCIE 4.0 Training Program allows you to enroll into any of these classes live and interact with the real instructor. With the Self-Paced version, you get access to the recorded versions of the live classes and cannot participate in live discussions. Hence is the price difference between the two different formats. Once again, Open Lecture Series are focused around advanced technology topics, such as various aspects of IP Routing or IOS Services. Lab Meetups are 2-3 hours informal meetings dedicated to the discussion of various Volume 2 full-scale labs.

Both versions of CCIE 4.0 Training Program have the same amount of self-paced content. That means that students who purchased the ILT version will automatically get access to the recorded videos for Lab Meetups and Open Lecture Series. All other online streaming videos found in the training program, such as Advanced Technologies Class, Advanced Troubleshooting Bootcamp, and One Week Online Bootcamp are available in video on demand format for both versions of the program
