CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Foundations Bootcamp
- Overview
- Bootcamp Outline
- Bootcamp Schedule
Join our highly certified team of CCIE instructors for a comprehensive bootcamp covering the complex and often harder to understand topics needed to pass the Routing and Switching CCIE Lab exam. This bootcamp is intended for candidates who have completed the Advanced Technologies Class and the vast majority of the R&S Volume I labs but ideally attend this bootcamp before starting on the full-scale R&S Volume II labs.
This bootcamp focuses solely on the complex and often harder to understand portions of the following topics: Advanced Ethernet Switching, Advanced OSPF, Advanced BGP, IP Multicast, Catalyst 3550/3560 QoS, Advanced IOS QoS, IP Services, Advanced IOS Security and Troubleshooting. Unlike our 12-Day Bootcamp which is 20% lecture & 80% hands-on labs and is designed for candiates who are within the last three months of their lab date, this bootcamp is 60% lecture & 40% lab and is designed for candidates who are three or more months away from their lab date.
Learning Outcomes:
The bootcamp is designed to ensure the candidate understands the complex portions of the topics covered and to introduce candidates to the "hands-on" lab experience in order for them to fully understand how to approach a full-scale CCIE lab that must be completed within 8 hours.

| Investment Protection Program:
Included free with your purchase is our Investment Protection Program, which guarantees that we'll allow you to re-attend this course for free at any time after your first class; whether you feel you need a "refresher course" right before you take your lab, or if you do not pass on your first try and need to re-take the bootcamp before attempting the lab again. |
The first week of the bootcamp will contain lectures and labs covering Advanced Ethernet Switching, Catalyst 3550/3560 QoS, Advanced OSPF, Advanced BGP and IP Multicast. The first three days of the second week will contain lectures and labs covering IP Services, Advanced IOS Security and Troubleshooting. At this point the candidate should have a very solid working knowledge of the topics covered in the bootcamp. The last two days of the bootcamp will be spent on skill refinement labs, focused on the interaction between the technologies covered earlier in the bootcamp. Each lab will guide you through the critical steps necessary for building and veryfing a working full-scale CCIE lab topology. In addition to skill refinement, the labs are designed to increase your speed and task management skills which are crucial when working in a timed full scale lab environment. Each lab will be covered by instructor lecture detailing the recommended approach and recommended solution to the lab tasks.
