Through the years Brian Dennis, CCIE #2210 (R&S, ISP Dial, Security, Service Provider, Voice) and Brian McGahan, CCIE #8593 (R&S, Service Provider, Security) have been devoted to revolutionizing the way CCIE Lab training is approached. Since 2004 their vision of success for CCIE’s has changed the market and help shape where it stands today. From inventing new ways to tackle technologies, to their famous CCIE Lab Workbooks, and now the highly sought after 12-Day Bootcamp, the Brians and Internetwork Expert continue to help networking professionals around the world achieve their own CCIE certification.

As part of Brian Dennis' and Brian McGahan’s ongoing commitment to the CCIE community, Internetwork Expert is pleased to announce the Real CCIE’s, Real People 2009 Scholarship.

We will be choosing one U.S. scholarship recipient and one international recipient from the applicant pool. The scholarship recipients will each receive CCIE Lab training from start to finish including:

  1. Internetwork Expert CCIE R&S 2.0 Program
  2. Complete CCIE Rack Rental package compliments of Graded Labs
  3. CCIE R&S Bootcamp of the recipients choice

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Ability to travel
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older
  3. CCIE Written exam passed or scheduled

Step One

Step Two

In addition to completing the online application, you are required submit an application letter below. Application letters should contain background information (in regards to networking) and personal reasons for applying for the scholarship. Suggestions include:

  1. 400-800 word (2800-5600 character) count
  2. Answer questions such as:
    • Why you need to be a CCIE?
    • What strengths would you bring as CCIE to the field?
    • Where you started in networking and where you are now?
    • What circumstances kept you from training?

Step Three:

As the final step in the scholarship selection process, all finalists will be reviewed with representatives from the Internetwork Expert Selection Committee. Scholarship recipients will be selected from the finalists.

Finalists will be notified and announced in June 2009. Note: application letters will be posted on our website.
